About Tecnológico de Monterrey

FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE CITY

The General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY) is located approximately 30 km from the Tec campus.

Convenient Transport Options:

Taxi or Ride-Sharing (Uber, Didi…)

  • Time: 50 - 90 minutes

  • Cost: $350 - $800 MXN (~$20–$45 USD)

  • Apps/Services: Taxi from Airport, Uber, Didi.

Private Shuttle

  • Available through hotels or by reservation (great for large teams and gear)

  • Cost: From $500 MXN ($28 USD) per person.

Car Rental

  • Available through several companies within the airport.

  • Cost: From $880 MXN for 7 days ($48 USD).

GETTING TO TECNOLOGICO DE MONTERREY

Written Directions:

By Car from the Airport:

  1. Exit the airport following signs to Monterrey.

  2. Take Av. Miguel Alemán toward the city.

  3. Merge onto Av. Constitución via the overpass.

  4. Continue for about 15 minutes.

  5. Take the exit for Av. Eugenio Garza Sada (South).

  6. After approx. 10 minutes, Tecnológico de Monterrey will be on your right.

By Metro + Uber:

  1. Take a taxi/Uber to Y Griega Metro Station (Line 1).

  2. Ride the Metro west toward General I. Zaragoza.

  3. Get off at Edison Station, exit, and order an Uber to Tec Campus.
