Parque Fundidora

A giant urban park built on the grounds of the former Fundidora company, where you can discover a film and art gallery, a flea market, green areas, the lake, the walkways, and the ice rink, among other attractions.

Paseo Santa Lucía

A scenic 2.5 km canal walk (or boat ride) connecting Parque Fundidora to the Museum of Mexican History. Lined with a beautiful landscape with 24 fountains, murals by Monterrey artists, and a large expanse of green areas and esplanades, creating perfect backdrops for sporting and recreational events.

Macroplaza

It is the fifth largest in the world and the largest in Mexico, covering 40 hectares, and includes various monuments, gardens, and buildings, including the Faro del Comercio, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Government Palace.

    • MARCO (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo)

      One of Mexico’s most important contemporary art museums. Famous for the giant pigeon sculpture at the entrance.

    • Mexican History Museum

      Modern, interactive museum highlighting Mexico’s past and culture. Located next to Paseo Santa Lucía.

    • Barrio Antiguo

      Historic district full of colonial buildings, cafés, galleries, and street art. On weekends, it turns into a lively outdoor market.

    • Obispado Museum

      It is known as the Bishopric Palace or simply "The Bishopric" because it was built between 1787 and 1788 by order of the Bishop of Monterrey, Rafael José Verger, who lived there until his death in July 1790. From that year on, it actually had very different functions, although it was primarily a military barracks.
