Dr. Gustavo A. García Ricardez Joins as Keynote Speaker!

Dr. García Ricardez received his MEng and PhD degrees from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Emergent Systems Lab of Ritsumeikan University, Japan.

He leads numerous research projects and teams in international robotics competitions, achieving results such as First place in the Airbus Shopfloor Challenge (2016), and multiple First places in the Future Convenience Store Challenge (2018-2025). His research interests include human-safe, efficient robot control, human-robot interaction, manipulation, and task planning.

He is also the CEO of G-ROBO, a company focused on software for system integration, and Vice President and Co-Founder of Coarobo, a company that creates software development environments.
